Commissions

I've been mulling something over for a while and decided to try a new approach to commissions.

I have really enjoyed taking on commissions in the past yet at times they've been a huge source of stress too mainly because of the pressure you're under and the loss of control over the freedom of creating a piece from the heart. So, for the most part, I stopped doing them.

So, I'm trialing something - You make a request for something you'd like made and if it fits with my other creative commitments and lights a fire in my brain I will make it BUT the difference is there is no commitment on either end.

You pay nothing upfront and I'm not obligated to make it. If I decide your commission idea is something I'd love to make, upon completion I will give you first refusal and if you don't want it I will offer it for sale to my other followers.

This way, it doesn't take away the fun, creative rush I get from working stuff out as I go without having to stop and ask if it's OK therefore halting the natural flow.

I think it could be a good solution to allow you to get a piece you want but without the pressure for either of us.
